Eagle Rock & Hensyn Village are two apartment communities in Budd Lake, NJ, managed by the same owner. They needed one website that served both properties without either losing its identity. The goal was to improve their online presence, draw in new renters, and create a fillable online application.
This was my first build using my new codebase with Next.js, so I had to work through setup and component architecture to create a site that could be repurposed across my client's apartment complexes.
The audience for this site are prospective renters and tenants trying to get information quickly. To accommodate this, I designed the site to be clean and easy to navigate, with no fancy animation or scroll sequences.
To accomplish the client's goals, I went with a clean layout with clear page navigation to help users quickly find the information they need. I implemented this through nav buttons prompting users to apply or get in touch, and made sure to include plenty of images to give prospective renters a clear idea of what their new home would look like.
With a fully custom codebase, I was able to implement the most up-to-date Search Engine Optimization tactics, boosting visitors by over 300%. Those results are further backed up by new renter inquiries, which brought in 10 new renters within 30 days.
